Sometimes it’s the little things. Today was Pi day so we had pie. Tomorrow is The Ides of March so I ordered myself this pencil holder that I have wanted for years. I’m not sure why I have never bought it before this, but I am pretty excited about it.

It will look great on my desk. I’ll consider it a house warming present to myself.

Fingers crossed that we will be completely out of here by the end of the month. We actually haven’t even given our notice yet, but I will this week since our rent is due next weekend.

Then we have 60 days to get out. I am hoping that since they need to do some repairs, and find the source of that leak before they can rent it out again that they will keep out potential renters until we have moved completely.

I won’t hold my breath, but I personally wouldn’t want potential renters walking through an apartment that has water damaged floors. Maybe that’s just me.

On a side note, the weather was very spring-like this past week so I embraced the no sock/invisible sock thing while almost exclusively wearing the new green flats.

Today is back to winter temps, but it was nice while it lasted. Even some trees are starting to bud.

Four positive things from this week:

  1. We finally got boxes.
  2. We now have more daylight. While I thoroughly dislike Daylight Savings and hope that they abolish it, I want them to do it at this time of year, so that we get those extra hours of sunlight in the evening.
  3. I finally found the exact wash and size combination that I have been searching for in a particular style of jeans.
  4. Everything started to open up this week. I have yet to venture out shopping but it is nice to know that I have the option now.

Stay safe.
