The clocks falling back on Halloween, which also happens to be on a Saturday, is diabolical, but I would have loved that once upon a time. It is like the trifecta of what would have been a really good party night.
The weather is not too bad either. Cool, but no snow.
Now I am just looking forward to eating tacos, reading a book, then going to bed early so I don’t get affected by the clocks going back. Getting older is weird.
This month went by so fast too. I can’t believe it is the holiday season…I saw some trees up in stores today, and it felt strange. Don’t get me wrong, this is my favourite time of year, but it seems excessively early this year.
Like maybe they are pushing it earlier because sales are down across the board, and since this is statistically the time of year when businesses make the majority of their money, maybe they are trying to get as much out of the season as possible.
In case you missed it, I posted a winter capsule for grudge holders, which is me in a nutshell. I thought it would be funny to write a post about it for like-minded people.
Ugh, I slept like shit last night and had to get up early to mentally prepare for a virtual meeting. I hate that shit, but it is done, and I am relieved it is done.
Now I am going to go eat some spicy noodles, which I will definitely regret, and head to bed.
