Okay, so apparently there were two small earthquakes here a couple of nights ago, and I had no idea until I read about them the next day. People said they were really loud even though you could barely feel them, and then it made me remember something.

So I asked my oldest daughter because her room faces out the same window area as where I was sitting when I heard something.

There is a big airport nearby; we aren’t super close to it, but we often can hear planes overhead. I am pretty immune to it because I lived on an airbase for most of my youth, so it is more like background noise to me.

But I remember hearing what I thought was a plane, but it sounded really low, like low enough that it made me stop and glance out the window because that isn’t usual.

My daughter said she heard the same thing, and it sounded so low and close that she was visualising having a Donnie Darko moment. So in hindsight we did in fact hear the earthquake; we just thought we were going to experience a plane crash nearby.

So random.

I was hanging out on Threads, and someone was asking for slipper recommendations because they were sick of buying slippers that feel good for 24 hours, then flatten out.

That is like my biggest gripe with slippers. After a day or two, it feels like you are wearing empty Kleenex boxes on your feet. The most recommended slipper was the Croc slipper.

Which I guess shouldn’t shock me since people always talk about how comfortable Crocs are. I’ve never had a pair, but I think I might want to try the slippers. I wear slippers constantly, so I just want something comfortable for once.

The ASOS x Adidas newest release just came out, and it is a good one. This one also ships to the US, unlike some of the other ASOS x Adidas collabs (not Canada yet, though).

I really like the turtleneck, but so does everyone else because it sold out fast. Apparently it has a restock coming.

In case you missed it, I posted the first winter wardrobe of the season yesterday. And this wardrobe really makes me want to up my navy blue game.
