Weekly Secondhand Finds LXIV

a collage of different types of women's clothing and accessories. All vintage or secondhand.

The weather has been pretty damn glorious for the last couple of days, especially in comparison to the deep freeze it was over the last few weeks.

That being said, it is going to return to shit weather tomorrow, but I was really feeling some early spring vibes even though it is still February.

Which had me thinking about transitional weather and how challenging it can be.

So for this post, I wanted to include some early spring items that will transition as well as carry you into full spring and even summer.

I’ll start with this bomber jacket that, if it were in my size, I would have wanted to grab it even though I am on a spending hiatus.

It is something that I have been looking for. A pony hair body with leather sleeves.

Next are these badass boots. Have I shared them before? Even if I have they are worth sharing again.

The colour and shape are to die for, and I would love to see some loose pants tucked into them.

I hunt for suede pants often, and yet I do not own a pair for myself yet. Although I do love this brown vintage Ralph Lauren version.

This snug, fitted waist peplum blazer that works as a top is by Betsey Johnson, and it delights me.

I would wear it as a top with jeans all the time.

The whole Y2K is starting to grab me again.

I was indifferent before, but now pieces like this embroidered barrel bag have me in a chokehold.

If I could only have one pair of sunglasses for spring and summer, I would choose white ones. I have a white cat eye pair by Celine that I bought preloved and they are my favourite.

Shoes with personality are like my love language, and this blue daisy print pair with the animal print upper are a dream.

The blue daisy print reminds me of that sticky wall paper stuff that you would use to cover your dresser or line drawers way back in the early 2000s.

The white leather bag looks like it is from the 80s even though it isn’t, and that is what I love about it. I love things that have an 80s vibe.

Do you love a statement jacket as much as I do?

Would you wear a metallic bronze one? This is the colour of my wedding dress and I would very much wear this.

Also, the 2000s Napoleon jackets are back, and the brown cord iteration is perfect.

Windbreakers/technical jackets are also in which is awesome. I love a great jacket that is also practical like the vintage Ralph Lauren version below.

This zip front, corset-style top by Dolce and Gabbana is very indie sleaze, and we very much need some more indie sleaze in our lives.

Animal prints of all kinds are all over the place at the moment, but one of my favourites is snake print.

I love the print in two completely different looks and intensities below.

The vintage Escada is very subdued and neutral, while the other one is more quirky and outside the box.

I would wear either depending on my dressing mood that day.

Another lovely vintage brooch for your collection, this one looks like a falling feather.

And to finish, here are some vintage Prada mules in a mid-purple suede.

I don’t know why, but I have been very drawn to purple recently, and I really like this mid, slightly muted version over bright or pastel purple.

That is it, friends.

My phone keeps overheating, so I need to go troubleshoot that.

I hope that this gave you some spring inspiration for your wardrobe.
