What a week, eh? It’s like you can let your guard down and relax for two seconds because some shit is going to go down.
I took myself on a million walks this week (busted out the new leggings) because sitting there with the desire to doom scroll and get lost in the social media chaos was too much.
So I shopped instead. Not a hardcore shop because I am broke, but a few small things.
I am feeling very scarf-ish this season, so besides the skinny scarf from last week, I saw this one in the store and grabbed that too.
My youngest said it is very Red Dead Redemption (a video game), which has cowboys in it. I don’t even like cowboys, but I’ll roll with that vibe, I guess.
Zara’s accessory game is on point this season. I saw this bag in store and it is fab. It reminds me a bit of a Fendi baguette in size and shape. I love the colour and the price for leather.
It looks more mustard yellow in person. Online it leans a bit more tan, at least on my screen.
I was going to get it, but the one in-store had a mark on it. Maybe I should have tried for a discount.
I also bought this button-up today. I couldn’t resist. Nothing says a not-so-basic button-up like a rabbit on the front.
And I think that is it, besides another face serum stock up. Why can’t they run out at the same time?
It’s a good thing I have an Ordinary store close by because ordering them all online separately would be a pain in the ass.
While I am not a stress eater because stress makes me nauseous, I am a stress shopper, which is unfortunate.
In case you missed it, I put together a modern grunge, or as I called it, avant-grunge fall capsule last night, which was a fun one.
My cold seems to be almost gone, which is one positive thing. I am just tired, which is probably from the hellscape of a week.
Take care of yourselves.
