Welcome back to another week of secondhand finds, and this one is the XX version. I didn’t really think this through with the Roman Numerals so when we get to the triple X edition I hope that people don’t think it is the risqué week of secondhand finds.
Whoops. Although that would be funny.
Onwards.
I have repeatedly mentioned that vintage Escada is one brand that I consistently search for and these two pieces are from them.
This grey wool blazer has such an interesting print and shape. It has a batwing fit with a slightly cinched waist. This would be one of those edgy minimalist pieces.
Every time I see one of these animal belts I add it to my want list. Since elephants are one of my favourite animals it is moved up the list.
Such a great statement piece but in a minimalistic kind of way.

Okay, so I thought that I was indifferent to purple but I think that maybe I just did’t find the right piece because this tone of purple is just right.
We have a Ralph Lauren crewneck with would be the perfect pop of colour.
But let’s direct our eyes to the bag.
It is an Issey Miyake Bao Bao and while I have this model in white, I feel like I want another in this purple or at least another bright colour.
Isn’t it fabulous?

I have an obsession with vintage tubogas necklaces, the bigger the better.
Tubagos means “gas pipe” and it is a flexible tubular necklace made from strips tightly wound together.
You often see them in the thinner to mid-size range but you can also get them really, really thick which is actually on my vintage wish list as well.
And any time I see large cat earrings or cat jewellery in general I have to share.
These are by Anne Klein who makes some truly fabulous vintage jewellery.

There was something about this blazer that sucked me in. The colour definitely, but the fun little yarn pieces just makes it so much more interesting.
What a fun piece to pair if you usually wear minimalist outfits. Or in the opposite end, it is maximalist and would look awesome in a completely maximalist outfit.
This black Moschino jacket with animal print lining is an xs, so way too small for me but if it was my size I would have grabbed it.
It is just a beautiful, well-made piece.

Another thing that would be mine if it was in my size is these Prada sporty kitten heels. They remind me of a fancy Teva sandal and would amplify any look.
Are you looking for interesting shoes? These little flats would fit the bill with their harlequin-esque colouring. They have a tiny block heel but are basically flat.

Croc print vintage boots in blue? Yes, please.
Pointy toe, slanted heel, and a shaft that is higher than an ankle boot. These are winners.
And if you want to drool check out this cowl neck on the leather jacket. The jacket is navy blue which makes it even better in my eyes since that isn’t a colour that you see often in leather jackets.
But the neck. Holy moly it is glorious. And the seller of this piece is local and so, so nice.
I am tempted to squeeze myself into it.

The cutest little cardigan here with its pretty pink colour and delightful little flowers. Have I shared this, or is this piece that I have personally stalked for myself?
It is hard to remember sometimes.
A delightful white skirt with large polka dots by Jil Sander. It hits at the perfect length and would be such a statement piece as the weather warms up.

We will finish it off with another Ralph Lauren sweater. This one is a cotton crew neck with a navy and red stripe which is one of my favourite combinations.
Then I found a Celine Boogie bag like mine but for a better price than what I paid for it. I love this little bag. It is like the perfect size for everyday use.
It can hold everything that I need.

That is it for this week.
I think my own personal wish list has grown substantially since it started this series. it is dangerous for me to be shopping vintage this often.
But it brings me joy so I will prevail 😉
