I was really tired today so I decided to have a 15-minute nap to try and wake my brain up. I ended up falling into such a deep sleep during those 15 minutes that when my alarm went off I felt like I had been sleeping for a long time and I thought it was Friday for a moment.
Like my family would have let me sleep straight for four days. It would have been nice though.
Too bad I couldn’t have slept longer.
This week I found a few things that I have a version of or are currently on my wishlist.
To start, I really love yellow, especially in spring.
It has a freshness and brings some life to your look. It also pairs well with so many colours, especially if you are a bit adventurous.
First is a lemon yellow 100% cotton sweater by Ralph Lauren that I was actually contemplating buying. I didn’t want to gatekeep so I am sharing and if someone else grabs it first it is okay.
You know how I love my Celine Boogie bags? Well, I found one in lemon yellow as well. What a fun way to brighten up your spring wardrobe.

This next bag is also super fun for spring and matches the yellow from above. It is by Marni has some interesting colourful shapes.
I always like a bit of fun with my bags, especially if my outfit is leaning towards minimalist.
The belt is a vintage pony hair with zebra print which is very on trend right now. A belt is an easy way to play with trends since they are a small part of your outfit.
Trying out trends through secondhand purchases is also a way to enjoy it without participating in fast fashion.

I think these two are my favourite of the day.
The Ganni raincoat is one that I am actively searching for, but whenever I find it, it is never in my size. There is something about it that just ticks all the right boxes for me.
This vintage moto jacket is special.
It has buckles at the waist that allow you to cinch it and give the jacket a shape. I love it, and this is another piece that I am actively trying not to get.
The bullshit of what is going on right now in North America is causing me to stress shop, and I am trying to control it.
It is a gem of a jacket though.

A couple of more purses to round up the spring accessories.
First is a mixed animal print vintage Miu Miu Bag. The delight I felt when I saw this one.
I bang on about Furla bags all the time, and this candy apple red bag would add some punch to your wardrobe.

Okay, so I have a version of both of these.
I found another pair of vintage Pumas in this great neutral combination.
These pony hair, animal print smoking slippers look almost exactly like the ones that I have. Mine are Jimmy Choo, and these are Louboutins, so they have the red sole which is more fun.

What I love about the next two jackets is that they have that sporty bomber style but are long.
Like the grey Maison Margiela is such a great minimalist piece but adds some casual sportiness while still keeping it chic.
The second one has a nice contrast with the coloured cuffs and collar. Either one of these would make a great lightweight, spring or summer jacket.
The second one keeps coming in and out of saying it is unavailable so I think someone may keep putting it in their cart.

More shoes. The white Jil Sander flats are a style that I am searching for in the secondhand market.
I want a flat with an decorative anklet-style strap like this metal one. I have seen a few different styles, but I like the white and silver combination of these.
Then we have a vintage Prada driving loafer.
These are very classic and minimalist, making a great slip-on shoe for the warmer season.

My last two of the post are both accessories.
We have some very 80s to early 90s vintage Versace earrings. Something bold without jumping into bright colours or exaggerated shapes.
And since I am a Leo and a lion lover in general, I found a beautiful lion head brooch by Kenneth Jay Lane.
I feel like I need more lions in my life.

That is it for this week my friends. Someone, please stop me from getting that cinch waist moto. Thanks.
