Back to the regularly scheduled programming with a Tuesday edition of secondhand finds. I love jacket season so when I am searching, it always seems to be coats and jackets that catch my eye and I have a couple of real bangers today.
I also want to take a moment to share my appreciation for the Nosferatu perfume. It’s kind of funny because everyone in my home loves it, even my husband who wants to buy himself his own bottle.
I wish it wasn’t a limited edition fragrance and currently sold out.
First I am going to start with a couple of jackets. We have two badass leather jackets in completely different styles. One is an asymmetric more blazer fit style, while the other is an oversized blazer.
These two will give such different vibes to your outfit even though they are almost the same colour brown leather. I already have a vintage bomber jacket, but the other is enticing me.

T-strap shoes are supposed to be a trend for this upcoming spring and summer and I found a lovely flat pair from Ferragamo. I usually find this style with a heel that has a 1930s feel, but in my day-to-day life I much prefer a flat.
Spring is a great time to embrace a little kitten heel slip-on. These vintage Prada’s are very Y2K and tiny, so if you have small feet they are for you. Pair them some jeans, a little tee, and a baguette bag and it will look like you just walked out of the year 2000.

You can never go wrong with a striped shirt, and this one is straight our of Delia Deetz’s closet with its exaggerated shaped sleeves. Such a winning piece.
Anytime I see a great menswear inspired coat I sigh, and this Chloe coat makes me sigh. It is cut for a women’s body but in a men’s style so if you find men’s coats to be overwhelming on your frame than this is a better choice.
It is brown tweed and a piece you will have forever, because that is what we want to do now, we want to make sure we are buying pieces that we will wear from year to year.
One of the things that I always seek out is old Celine pieces. They tend to be pricey so if I find them more affordable I like to keep an eye on the piece.
This shirt is leather with an asymmetric neckline. I have a leather shirt already but I would gladly trade for this one. These red shoes are like the loafer version of the black bootie pair that I have which I found on Poshmark for a stellar deal.
The red is delightful.

At first, this Carolina Herrera jacket looks like it would be too dressy for everyday wear but I think it would look amazing with some beat up, slouchy jeans to give a little juxtaposition.
Then add layered pearls of different lengths or a big brooch, and this chunky bracelet over the sleeve.
Then finish with the above Old Celine red flats, but cuff the jeans first so you can see the whole shoe. They deserve to be seen.

More and more recently I am seeing people both wearing and talking about brooches, so my friends…the most underrated accessory that I have been talking about for a long time now is finally getting its moment.
This blue feather brooch is beautiful. Not only the design but also the colour.
I am a sucker for a lariat style necklace. The way that it just wraps around your neck like the bolas they used to throw at people to wrap around their legs.
Weird comparison I know, but that is always what they remind me of. The longer the better with a lariat necklace, at least to me it is.

I am a fan of the non trendy bags of big brands like this brown Balenciaga. Great colour, great shape, and not an IT bag. The size is cute and compact and it would hold all the essentials.
This green bag is the colour that pulls me every time I see it. A gorgeous khaki green suede tote in a great shape and size. This colour may have been a fall trend but it will translate well into spring and summer too.

And I am saving the best for last. A double dose of Issey Miyake. I adore the artistry of Issey Miyake pieces like this pleated top, and Bao Bao bag.
I have been on the hunt for some vintage Issey Miyake finds and would love to get a truly iconic piece for my wardrobe.
I already have a Bao Bao bag in white, but I also love the look of it in yellow. My Bao Bao bag always makes me really happy when I carry it.

It is like carrying a piece of art.
Bao Bao bags really range in price so you have to search for the best deal for what you are looking for.
I think I paid just under $200 for mine off Vestiaire, but it was located in Canada so shipping was cheaper for me than usual.
Remember to aim for secondhand first because those are the pieces that you often get the most joy out of in your wardrobe.
Happy secondhand shopping!
