As I write this it is Sunday afternoon and I am sweating because it is 20°C+ today. Our condo has certain times of the year where they will switch from heat to air conditioning and from central air back to heat. Usually the heat gets switched on at the beginning of November and the central air goes on Victoria Day weekend (towards the end of May) so if it gets cold or hot on off-season times you have to suffer 😉 I’m not complaining thought because we don’t pay for either, it is included in our rent. It would be nice to have a little cross breeze coming through the windows though.

I just started watching Girlboss and so far I love it. I can kind of relate to the beginning where she sells vintage clothes on Ebay. I used to do that too in the Early to mid 2000’s and to quit due to Ebay’s policies and it changing way too much to be profitable anymore. It was fun though and I totally miss those days on Ebay. And while I am on topic of buying and selling clothes on Ebay I found a killer pair of Converse at Value Village on Saturday. They are an off-white with silver studs on the side Have yet to take a picture). They were only $6.99 and I got 30% off because we had a discount coupon for donating a lot of things. It literally pays to purge your closet and home. Roo found a million t-shirts as well. I wish there was one a little closer (like walkable) so we could hit it on weekdays instead of weekends when Tom isn’t working and the car is home.

It’s the end of an era and my old college watering hole is closing after 152 years. This is depressing in a “I can’t believe it’s over” sort of way. So many great memories, many of which are foggy, and one which ended in “borrowing” a bike and doing a drunk biking pub crawl.

* I posted the picture of this pink dress on Instagram asking for opinions about it. I bought it because I liked the print and colour, but I don’t really like wearing short dresses. The dress’ hem is unfinished so it would be easy to shorten it a couple of inches to have it as a long tee/tunic top. I got mixed opinions on whether to shorten it or leave it so what do you think?

  1. I would hem the dress to a cropped tee/mid-length to balance out the sleeves. If it was a long tee/tunic, I think you might still find it to be too unbalanced. 🙂
