I put together 30 outfit options for a trip that is about 14 days in June. There is a wedding and some family events during that time so the need for more outfits and options is potentially higher. If you want more details on the trip and the entire packing list, check out the original post. The temperatures at this time of year range form the low to high 20’s (celsius) so a variety of hotter day/cooler evening outfits is a good idea. I stated in the original post that while I don’t normally list high heels (I don’t like to wear them and try to avoid them at all costs) I did for this list because it included a wedding. If you hate heels too or the wedding/party leans to more casual, you can just swap them out for something you will get more use out of like a pair of sandals or ballet flats.
The hat I included is a packable hat, but if packed properly (using your scarves to stuff in to keep the shape is a great start) then your regular hat should be fine. My straw hat got demolished on our way back from Barbados but that was way before the time of Pinterest and finding all kinds of excellent tips online.
It seems like the thunderstorm is easing up just as I am finishing. The migraine is almost gone too. Now I can go watch Girlboss 🙂 Have a great weekend guys.

What a short week, I can’t believe that Friday is here already. I’m starting to feel that I need one of those big planners to plan my week out because I am one of those people who do better with lists and boxes to tick and this week felt like it went by without ticking off any boxes :/ At this point I feel like I am constantly trying to figure out what I am supposed to do each day to maximize productivity and am failing miserably.
Last post I responded to a request for What to Pack for a Month in the UK and France in June. This post I put together 30 outfits from those pieces with room to make many more combinations. You could go the whole 30 days and not wear the same outfit twice. If you go to the original post it explains the details and what the weather will be like. With an average of 18-20°C you should be all right with any of these outfits and if the days get unseasonably hot, or damp and cold you will have options for those says as well.
If you are going to have access to laundry regularly and don’t mind wearing the same outfits on repeat you could easily bring even less with you. Remember that one of these outfits will be your travel outfit, the rest should easily pack (especially if rolled).
The rain and damp has come full force but I am not going to complain because it will come out green with flowers. We are still waiting for the tulips to pop up. Is it full spring where you are yet?

I almost forgot to post this. Long weekends throw me off and I totally thought it was Saturday (when I don’t usually post) so I neglected to publish this until now.
When I do the “What to Wear” posts I generally have two large collages with 10-12 outfits on each one, but this week I have changed it just a little. Since this trip is for 10 days there really isn’t any need for 25-30 outfit so I made one collage with 18 options. There is still definitely a lot more that you can put together with the pieces from the What to Pack for Madrid, Spain in summer packing light list from last day. These are just a general idea of what types of outfits you can wear for various outings.
During the summer months Madrid is quite hot and humid so packing lightweight, loose, and comfortable clothing is key. Dresses, wide leg pants, shorts, and light denim (for cooler indoors and nighttime) are the basics. Then add in a mixture of tops, a sweater, and some shoes, and accessories (don’t forget the hat). I like items that can be used in different ways like the shirt dress, which has several uses besides a dress. It can be worn as a swimsuit cover, layered under a sweater, and worn open over other dresses, shorts, or pants. Versatile pieces allow you to stretch out your travel wardrobe and become more creative which is what packing light is all about.
If you are heading out for a warm weather destination soon let me know what your must bring wardrobe piece is. I’d love to hear what everyone’s favourites are.
Have a great long weekend guys!
