SHOP THE POST
One more day for the weekend because tomorrow is “Family Day” so it’s a hang around the house kind of day. Which goes with the way that I spent today , which was lazing about because I didn’t sleep well last night. I swear I didn’t fall asleep until the sun started to show this morning. I would have liked to go around thrifting but I just couldn’t pull it together today.
On Saturday we went to eat at a restaurant that was in a mall. After we finished we decided to walk around the mall because we were out of the city and trying to avoid the dinner traffic trying to get back in to Toronto. We were confused about why all the stores were locking up at only 6pm.
When you live in a large city that has everything opened extended hours you get spoiled and forget that smaller cities shut down earlier. I should have remembered because I used to work every Saturday in retail and we always cheered when we closed at 5:30. How easily you forget. I mean, I can barely remember what it was like when nothing was open on Sundays.
It was only a 3 day outfit sort of week. With the storms and generally not feeling like going out this was the most I “dressed” up this week.
I did get a new desk chair today as well from Kijiji. It has a much higher back, and cushioned seat so I am hoping it does the job.
I decided to rewatch Scott & Bailey. I rewatch tv shows as much as I reread my favourite books. You would think I would get sick of them, but I don’t. They really should have made more seasons of this show.
Has the February blahs hit any of you? It is hitting here full force.
