I can’t believe the clocks turn back next week here in North America. I wish that our province joined a couple of others who have decided not to participate in it anymore because I am not looking forward to losing that hour of daylight.

It’s hard enough now; I can’t imagine what it is going to be like with more darkness. I feel like the overall number of people who experience seasonal depression is going to grow this year.

Not just because of the loss of daylight, but that combined with all the other shit, and it is going to hit hard.

One more week and stores are going to be going full-blown Christmas too. I even saw all the costumes today condensed to a smaller area for the last-minute panic shoppers before they go on clearance.

I probably should grab some candy soon though. I keep putting it off because that shit is so expensive now.

Way to go, British Columbia, for following in Ontario and Alberta’s footsteps and voting in a party that is going to decimate your province.

I truly thought we learned that we need to vote. At this point, I am fully supportive if the government makes voting mandatory because this is insanity. I also think that they should throw in a mandatory civics class because stupidity is rampant.

Dark days, friends.

Last week was a good Poshmark week for me; this week people are offering 15% of the asking price. I would blame it on Vinted and their low costs, but we don’t have Vinted here, so I guess it is just because of life in general.

And I get it, truly I do. They want to shoot their shot, and in this economy you do what you have to.

I see things all the time on Poshmark that are priced out of my comfort zone, but instead of lowballing, I like the item to see if the price drops to a more affordable amount at some point, or use it as inspiration to source it elsewhere, maybe for cheaper.

Hopefully it picks up this week. I have a few things that I want to get listed, and a few others that need new photos, better descriptions, and relisting because they have been on there a while.

I also need to order some more poly bags. Last time I made the mistake of ordering black because my options were black and hot pink, and I have spent the last 100 bags cringing that it looks like I am shipping them in black garbage bags.

Sigh. Lesson learned. I should have bought the hot pink.

I’ll sign off with this jacket that I saw at Zara. It is one of those pieces that I want to build an entire wardrobe around. It is stunning.
