I am so tired. I don’t even know what my deal is right now. My brain feels like mush. I feel like when I had really early morning classes in college, I would want to die on the bus from being tired and having a hangover.

Except I don’t have a hangover because I actually haven’t drunk much of any kind of alcohol since 2004. But weirdly enough, I feel hungover. Maybe I am getting sick.

I found myself googling “do tastebuds grow back?” at 3 am last night because I have one of those sore ones on the tip of my tongue, and I remember watching a video where the woman took tweezers and ripped it out.

Anyway, that was why I Googled, and no, I didn’t rip it out. I went to sleep and hoped for the best.

On a positive note, I found my favourite bra that I wear at home. I know most women walk in the door and take off their bras, but I am more comfortable with some kind of restraint to keep them in place.

Anyway, my at-home one isn’t a sports bra because I always find them suffocating. It is just a regular, no underwire, but with support.

I thought I lost it, and I have been wearing my really stretched-out bralette in the meantime, but today I found it again in a really stupid spot that I swear I looked in, at least three other times.

My oldest daughter swears by this one, because she is small band/bigger cup and most often they gap at the sides. She calls underwire the devil and finds this one is very smooth and supportive, or so she says.

I bought them during a big sale last year. A good fitting bra is a game-changer.

How are we feeling about the John Galliano Zara collection? It is beautiful, like I knew it would be, but man, some of those pieces are so expensive.

Who do they think the average Zara shopper is? She usually isn’t an $800 coat kind of person. But alas, much of it sold out quickly, so I guess I may be mistaken about who the Zara shopper actually is.

In case you missed it, I put together a wardrobe: The Bad Influence: A Fall Capsule for the Woman Who Stopped Giving “Good” Advice.

  1. Wait, when you think of ball bearings, Greta Garbo isn’t the first person to come to mind?
