The Eaton Centre is a massive mall in downtown Toronto, and I hate going there. But when I want to check out certain stores for new stock, it is usually the place (and Yorkdale) since this location seems to always get the good stuff.

So I went there to check out the Zara new stock for yesterday’s capsule wardrobe post. I like to try on and physically see items in person.

Needless to say, I tried on a lot of stuff but bought none since I am in an involuntary buy-nothing period, which was disappointing because there was a lot of good stuff.

That mall definitely sucks the energy out of me, which says a lot for someone who likes to shop. I slept well that night, though.

I saw a man today wearing a well-worn, red Puma T-shirt and now I want one. Preferably vintage. I love the colour red.

Tomorrow I go through my closet again looking for things to sell. I did several weeks ago, and there were a few pieces I debated over, so I think waiting a few weeks and then seeing how I feel the second time will tell me whether it is a keep or go.

Plus, I know I stored away some good shit that I had intended to sell quite a while ago, and now I can’t remember where I put it, so I am going to hunt for that bag of stuff as well.

This week I gave up on trying to come up with summer outfit ideas and am just wearing whatever floats my boat, even if it is seasonally inappropriate.

I’m just done with the summer, and the mornings and evenings have been cooler, so hopefully we are done with extreme heat fluctuations. We’re not, I know, but I will live in denial for now.

Spirit Halloween is officially open down the street, and we are going to hit it up, maybe this weekend. Exciting times.
