SHOP THE POST

I don’t know if it is the cold , dry, winter weather, or if it is just time catching up to me but my wrinkles around my eyes are starting to really show. Let’s not even get started on the forehead and 11’s between the eyes. It’s almost enough to make me want to cut bangs.

This prompted me to do a search for good but inexpensive aging skin care products. Which of course brought me right back to a product that I already use a few pieces from Deciem. I decided that I would give their 30% AHA peel a try because I used to use an aha product a zillion years ago and it was amazing.

BUT apparently even though the company is Canadian, any aha products over a certain % can’t be sold in Canada due to some strict regulations. BUT again there is always a way around that, meaning that you can get it shipped to you from another country. Which I did. I found that they sell it on ASOS so any of you that live in Canada and want to try the product, you can buy it here for a few dollars more. Which isn’t a lot because Deciem products are very inexpensive.

I also picked up this product directly from Deciem, and some spf lotion because I needed some and wanted free shipping 😉 I ended up with 3 new products for around $50 which is incredible because so many products these days cost a lot more than $50 for per item.

I didn’t leave the house today because it was COLD with some pretty significant ind chills. It was a total lazy pyjama day for me. Tom decided that he would go down and hit the Value Villages to embrace the probably empty stores due to the weather though, and found a few good things. I didn’t go because I wasn’t in a thrifting mood today, and you really need to be in the mood to look otherwise it is pointless.

Have you watched Working Moms yet? It’s kind of crude, but actually pretty funny. The living situation for a couple of the characters is a little unrealistic for the city (it takes place in Toronto) but good nevertheless.

And another week goes by and my Christmas tree is still up.
