Merle’s birthday is on Friday and I can’t believe she is turning 8. She’s still deciding what she wants to do for her day so I hope the weather cooperates if it is an outdoor event.
Why do kids like to keep things that are so obviously done/broken? I mean, is it really so hard to get rid of a pair of pyjama pants that have absolutely no sentimental value and have the ass completely ripped out of them? I can’t fix them, and it’s not like she’s going to sew them in to something else. They are just sitting folded on the shelf taking up room :/
It’s funny what the simple things upping your water intake and a just 25 minutes of exercise can do your for you. I have been feel worn out lately and decided to cut down on the coffee, up the water (it’s actually water and lemon because I hate plain water) and see if that made any difference. I know it can take some time to notice any changes and can actually get worse for a while after cutting out/down coffee so I wasn’t expecting much. Today though, Tom had to work so I figured since it was Sunday and we were hanging quietly at home (because I try to avoid the weekend shopping traffic) that I would squeeze in a workout.
Merle joined me as I turned on a quick 10 minute cardio, then a 15 minute strength training video and by the end of it I was feeling better than I have in a long time. Maybe it was a fluke, or maybe it was the universe telling me to get my shit together. We’ll have to wait and see.
