SHOP THE POST

I came across the Edinburgh Darkside Walking Tour: Mysteries, Murder and Legends tour while I was Pinteresting last night and I bookmarked it to add to my “going to do this someday” list. I looks super fun and not at all like some of those dressing up in costumes, and jumping out to scare you gimmicky tours.

I absolutely HATE when things jump out to scare you. When Tom and I were first married we went to Niagara Falls and he wanted to go through the haunted house. I don’t do those. I just can’t handle purposefully scaring myself like that. I ended up deciding to try it though, and made it about 15 ft in when some costumed guy jumped out and screamed in my face. I burst into tears and immediately ran out the entrance. I like creepy/eery/macabre type scary things but not that.

I managed to post 5 outfits this week which is a record for me 😉 In the last photo you can see the new Zara jeans that I recently purchased and love. I was kind of hanging on to hope that we were finally starting to see some cooler weather because last week had cool mornings and some very comfortable temperatures (no humidity). Apparently Mother Nature isn’t quite done with us yet though because the heat is back to haunt me this week.

Has anyone ordered anything online from Ikea before? Not big furniture but smaller things like linens and stuff? The new catalogue came in and I noticed that they have a much cheaper black-out curtain option than before. They used to have some that were $70-$80 and while they still have those they now have some that are about $40 cheaper and I want to buy them. While we have several Ikeas in the drivable area I don’t actually have access to a car all week and they are insanely busy on weekends so I try to avoid shopping there on those days. Especially at this time of year when everyone is buying stuff for their dorms, or new apartments for college. I made the mistake of going at this time last year and it was nightmare, so I figured I’d try out their online shopping to see if it’s good. Although if I go to the store then I can buy a case of their drinks that I love. That’s almost enough to convince me, but I still not sure it’s worth the hell 😉
