SHOP THE POST

Before I move on to today’s post I wanted to say that I am receiving all of your messages, emails, and DM’s. I have fallen way behind in answering but I am reading, noting, and appreciating them all even if I haven’t answered it yet.

On average I am also getting 3-4 packing list requests a week so I am having a little trouble keeping up with that. I am combining requests that are for the same destinations and/or similar tastes to get them done, so I hope you don’t mind.

I am going to try my damnedest to get through all the messages by the end of this weekend though. Also, I wanted to note that several emails came in with a blank message space and I don’t know if it was sent by mistake or not.

This week I have a Paris packing list that piggybacks off last week’s post and is also in France, but this time is for what to pack for a spring trip to Paris for two weeks.

It’s a family’s trip to Europe for the first time, and mom was looking for some ideas. They are staying in an Airbnb that has access to laundry and is located steps from everything they need.

She likes classic pieces, mixed with trendy, and edgy for an eclectic look. Several key pieces that she wanted to include were a long camel coat, black trousers with a small kick flare, and the Everlane Day Heel in red (I also have these shoes and I adore them. I would size up half to a full size depending on how wide your foot is because the toe box is narrow).

The rest of the choices she wasn’t sure what to include. Since Paris weather in April is quite temperate the clothing options are unlimited. I kept to mostly neutrals with texture and prints.

The Every Mother Counts grey tee is a Garments for Good* piece from J.Crew. Look below for details on the organization.

The bright red shoes and bold printed scarf add some colour to the neutrals. This can also be done with other accessories to switch it up and add visual detail. All of the outfits that can be made from these pieces will work easily for a “put together mom on the go”, and you can find them in my What to Wear in Paris post.

*Founded in 2010 by Christy Turlington Burns, Every Mother Counts works to make childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere (to date, they’ve impacted almost 600,000 lives). To show support, fifty percent of the retail price of this T-shirt will be donated to the organization’s efforts. I love a good cause item.

Thank you for reading. I really do appreciate it guys.
