I’m not sure how many more of these winter packing lists for Europe I am going to get done for Christmas trips. This is probably one of the last ones that I will finish before I start to focus more on destinations that take place after the new year.

I find I am pushing it for time and giving myself extra stress if I take on too many with all the extra Christmas crap that is coming up 🙂

I know someone who recently to a Bath vacation, and when she reluctantly came home she started planning how she was going to move there (Fast forward. It worked and she not only lives there but just got married to a local too). So it seems obvious to say that the city had a huge, and positive impact on her.

This request is for a girlfriends trip packing list. A couple of girlfriends taking a “girls” trip for the holidays. The women are in their 30’s and have planned for months down to the last detail except what the were packing.

That is where I come in with a few ideas to throw around. If there is one part of my life that I regret, it’s not taking the time to travel with friends when I was in my early 20’s.

The time, money (well, kind of if I stayed in hostels), and the opportunity was there and I let it slip by. You didn’t see as many people travelling at our age back then, or if they did it wasn’t quite as in your face like it is now because of Facebook, and Instagram.

It would have been nice to have the “before kids” and “after kids” travel experiences but I try not to be too regretful and look forward to family travel times.

Bath ranks high on my bucket list. I mean, who am I kidding?  I think anywhere in the UK ranks high on my list but Bath is also a well-noted Unesco Heritage site and we all know how much I love those 😉

The Romans founded in it 1AD making this pretty bloody old. It is acknowledged for its Romain remains, and Neoclassical architecture embracing two great times in history; Roman and Georgian. Which is fascinating.

As for a travel packing list, the bonus of going with a friend is that you may borrow things from one another if you are similar sizes and/or tastes.

That will almost double your options which means you should never run out of things to wear or get bored with your wardrobe which sounds good to me. This also means that you can do an extra packing light trip and travel with only a backpack if you are inclined to try.

I have the travel outfit ideas and some explanations for my choices in this post.

I hope you have an incredible trip and make some great memories <3
