Happy Friday! Today’s post are the Oslo outfit ideas that go with Wednesday’s What to Pack for Italy and France packing light list. Actually, this has been every Friday’s post for the last few months so I hope you aren’t getting annoyed with the predictability because I still have a list of requests to get through and my free time doesn’t leave a lot of room for much topic variety 😉

The pieces I chose for this travel capsule wardrobe reflect my own personal wardrobe quite well and would be very similar to what I would bring on a trip like this. I don’t have a feminine dress like the pink one though.

I should probably rectify that because every woman should have a super feminine dress in her wardrobe, especially a go-to travel dress.  I’m still in my learning curve in the “building your wardrobe” thing so it takes posts like this for me to notice key pieces that I am missing. I think it is an ongoing work in progress.

The temperature for Italy, and France for the time period of this trip range from highs of 24° to lows of 13°C so you may want to bring some leggings or tights to layer under a dress, and maybe another pullover or cardigan for evenings if you think it is needed.

I made 20 outfits out of the pieces from the France and Italy packing list but there are definitely many more combinations that can be made.

These pieces can easily be packed in a carry-on only by simply wearing your heaviest and bulkiest items on the plane. Layering is the gift of travelling light, it gives both outfit variety and saves space.

Do you have one key piece that you bring on trips?
