In my last post I put together a list of what you can pack for London, England. This post I am going to talk about what to wear and the outfits you can make with that list. The pieces I put together made the 10 outfits above and I made a bonus six outfits at the bottom. I generally like to stick with a fairly neutral palette and then add a coloured piece or two for some colour variation. You can make the most out of a wardrobe (and pack less) if everything pairs easily.

The rule of packing is that it is never necessary to bring more than 3 pairs of shoes. I interpret this as meaning that you pack two pairs and wear one. The wearing rule applies to tops, bottoms etc. You wear the pieces off your packing list that will take up the most room in your suitcase and then pack the rest. Pieces that can work double duty as something else also save room like the dress doubling as a skirt in this list. Long sleeves, and leggings can also be worn as pyjamas.

My list this week is built for weather that can take you from fall straight through to spring. To make this list more summery  you would trade out a pair of pants or two for shorts or skirts, switch to some short sleeves, replace the winter coat with another dress, and trade a pair of boots for sandals. But I really like the cooler weather lists the best. Next post I am going to talk about the things that are on my must-see/must-do list for London.
