Blouse | Distressed Jeans | Boots (similar) | Hat (similar)
This is outfit of the day # 11. I was going to call this post “A Pop of Belly”, because 2 seconds before we walked out the door my bottom button fell off my blouse as you can see. When I looked in the mirror it looked like it would be okay for when I went out so I decided not to change. Nothing seemed like it was hanging out so I figured I could fix it when I came home. I didn’t take in to consideration that it was windy. I spent most of my time fighting from flashing people my belly.
As summer has almost reached its halfway point I decided to go through my closet and make an inventory of what I have and haven’t worn in my capsule. My black wrap dress I lent out and haven’t got back yet so that is one thing I haven’t worn, and I have only worn my shorts down to the pool. While I have tried to document my outfits to show the versatility sometimes when I am out I either forget or I am too wrapped up in what we are doing to get the picture. Event though the summer is hot, I find that I am more prone to wearing jeans than shorts which is why I only have one pair. I will probably transfer over quite a few of these pieces for fall since some are sweaters and the rest can all be layered.
I’m not sure about dresses though. I don’t see myself wearing too many dresses as it gets closer to winter. I don’t know though. I need to go shopping and take a look what is out there.
On a side note, I bought my first Christmas present a few days ago. Well, I tried to. I ordered a pair of Hunter Boots for Roo because I received an email indicating they were on sale in Tourmaline Green the colour she likes. I paid, the transaction went through and the next day I received an email cancelling the order due to online and warehouse inventory discrepancies. All this would have been fine but I have yet to receive my refund and can’t buy another pair until I do. It is kind of frustrating and I have emailed about it but no response on the issue yet. Bah.
