We finally got to test out the balcony tonight to watch the fireworks. They have been cancelled for the past few years but since it is Canada Day they brought them back this year.

Two things for this week. First, off I bought a domain name. I bought it to save the name of the potential site that I want to open to sell secondhand merchandise. I suck at coming up with names, but I’m not going to lie, I love this one.

I have just hit the record for the most consistent I have ever been with exercising in my entire life. Which is kind of embarrassingly sad in one part, but also something that I feel proud of myself for sticking with.

It is Tom’s birthday today and every year he gets to request a cake that I make. For the last 3 years he has chosen the same cake. It is a cheesecake that I tweaked the recipe for since we aren’t huge white chocolate fans.
I am absolutely not a baker, but I substitute semi-sweet for the white chocolate and it is one of the best cheesecakes that I have had.
