SHOP THE POST
Down to the wire again. We decided to drive out of the city to shop at some of the Value Villages that we haven’t been to before for a change.
At one of them I found an awesome 1970’s vintage chair. The kind with the screw in legs and cushioned seat. The cushion part is in my favourite yellow, and it is in really good condition. I originally bought it for Roo to use as her gaming chair but I kind of want to keep it for the living room.
I made the mistake of going into a Petsmart after that and they had a LOT of cats up for adoption from the Humane Society. There was an adorable one named Merry who was missing an eye and I wanted her so badly.
She had to be adopted with her sibling though and we just don’t have room for three cats in here. I have guilt for leaving them behind. I want to go back and get them 🙁
Roo finally made her Halloween Costume decision….she’s going to be Freddy Krueger. She is her father’s daughter that’s for sure with their mutual love of all things horror.
Tom is all excited because he got to buy a Freddy Krueger glove that’s been on his personal wish list for as long I have known him. He is currently trying to burn spots on the fedora and cut it to make it look more “authentic”. He is right in his element right now.
This weekend I managed to almost finish my homeschool blog post that I said I was going to put together. I should have it posted tomorrow some time. I hope it doesn’t bore you to tears 😉
