SHOP THE POST

Surprise, surprise I managed to avoid catching a cold all winter and now on the last day of March Break I woke with a sore throat. I am blaming it on Comicon. So many people, in such a small space, germs galore.

I have to admit that Comicon was a little disappointing this time around. It seemed that there were a lot fewer people selling their wares than usual. My favourite part of going is walking up and down Artist Alley where you can see and buy all kinds of creations, but there just wasn’t as much this time. I only ended up buying a few handmade bookmarks.

Tom on the other hand never fails to find anything and everything. We always end up losing each other in there because he wanders off when things catch his eye, I don’t notice, and then there are too many people for me to go back and find him. When he does appear he is usually carrying bags of his finds, so I think he actually wanders off on purpose 😉

There were some really good costumes as usual, which is one of the main reasons we love to go so much. I think my favourite this time around was a group theme of the Umbrella Academy. It was really, really good.

Aside from that the week was fairly unproductive. I managed to workout 5/7 days though which was nice. And I found a black merino wool pullover from Uniqlo that was on sale for $20.

No green beer for me last night/today to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, but Tom had a gig last night so I am certain that he drank enough for everyone. He seems to be suffering for it today and put himself to bed.

I’m always cold. Always. I even sleep with socks on in the summer and wear slippers 365 days a year. Anyway, I’m freezing right now even though I have the heat cranked and I am wrapped in a blanket. I want to just bury myself in blankets and watch tv until bed, but I have nothing to watch. Any recommendations?

*These shoes are the Day Heel by Everlane and were gifted. I haven’t been able to wear them due to the weather until now though. I generally have trouble walking in heels but the Day Heel has an excellent tight fit, that securely holds around the heel, with a block heel make them VERY comfortable, and VERY easy to walk in. These are the honey colour, and I also have them in red. Definitely a closet staple.
