Have you seen the Google Doodle today? It is for Steve Irwin’s birthday and it’s lovely. He was such a good soul.
Since last summer I have talked about how I want a pair of Birkenstock Yara sandals but couldn’t find anyone that sold them in Canada. I found a pair at Journey’s in brown so I ordered them. The only problem is that after reading probably over a hundred reviews is that they fit big so go down one size from your regular European size.
Since I wear an 8 shoe, my European size 39. I bought the 38 because of the recommendation, and now I am scared that they are going to be too small :/ and with Birkenstocks you need your foot to fit in the areas properly so the arch support is where it is supposed to be. My only hope is that since my feet are narrow and these are a little wide they might balance out. I have really long toes though so I may be screwed.
They shipped today so I will let you know if they do indeed fit large.
