SHOP THE POST

The last post of 2018 which is hard to believe that we are already there.

This is embarrassing to admit but I finally replaced my sports bras today that were literally disintegrating. They were in really bad shape. I bought them in 2010 for my hospital stay when I had Merle, so I think I was due for some news ones.

My good news is that none of my Zara purchases were cancelled. I received a shipping notification yesterday for everything. More often than not when I purchase during high sales times I get some or all parts of my orders cancelled, so I was pleasantly surprised.

I’m not really into on New Year’s resolutions so I don’t have any big life changes that I have in store for the next year. It would be nice to plan out some long-term goals though.

I just received an email from my landlord that they are raising our rent again. They are legally allowed to do that every year up to a certain percentage. I think they plan on doing it so they can eventually get us to leave because then they can increase the rent significantly for another tenant.

The rent for our place is pretty low compared to other units in this area. It’s messed up how expensive it is here, and I truly don’t understand how people are expected to live. People need 5 roommates in a 2 bedroom condo to make it affordable for themselves. I don’t know how families do it.

Are you a New Year’s resolution type of person?

Happy New Year!
