SHOP THE POST

I’ve spent the weekend feeling crappy because I am getting sick again. Mild fever, sore throat, tired (but that is normal for me) and just plain ick. I was hoping it was something that I was fighting off but I woke today feeling crappier. This fluctuating weather always seems to bring out the germs full force.

I ventured out into the Black Friday sales and it was brutal. I would have preferred to stay home but since Roo’s birthday was on Saturday I still had to get out and pick up a few things. I managed to get myself a couple of pair of fur-lined leggings from Just Cozy though. The entire store was on for $10 and it was CRAZY in there. I’m lucky that I was able to grab my size in the colours I wanted because she was just restocking the shelf when I came in. If you get a chance to try a pair on you will love them. They are the most comfortable leggings I’ve ever worn. And for $10, it can’t be beat (they are usually $25).

I also hit the Zara sale. I was a little disappointed because the U.S. Zara got 30% off everything while in Canada we only got 30% off of select pieces and the dress I wanted wasn’t included. I did get a couple of sweaters. I am attempting this wool-blend cardigan again after I got a lot of messages on how to make it less itchy. I originally bought in black a returned it before I got the advice, but this time I bought it in grey. The other sweater seems to be sold out for now.

I also found winter boots for Merle before the snow came last week. I was an early Black Friday sale with a stacked coupon and I got them for about $60 which was a total score. Any sale that I saw after that wasn’t even as close to be as good.

Tom flooded the sink in the bathroom tonight and everything under the sink got saturated including a brand new package of toilet paper and the q-tips (were basically floating) so Merle and I made a late night visit to the mall to pick up some of the essentials that got ruined. On our way past Gap kids I saw that it was all 50% off so I stepped in looking for some of knit leggings because she likes them in the winter. What we did find was an almost identical jacket to my animal print one in miniature size. She was so excited that I had to buy it. We ended up getting it for 60% off because the cashier thought it was cute how excited she was and gave us an extra 10% off. So I guess that’s another sale weekend deal.

Most retailers seem to be carrying their Friday sales through that Monday. Some are changing up a bit to include online purchases only but a lot of the sales seem the same if you put off something and you are kicking yourself for missing the Friday sale.

Amazon will have its daily deals in each department along with various Lighting Deals throughout the day so it pays to visit often if you are looking for something in particular. I’ve been looking for a pair of headphones for Tom and I hope that I can find a decent pair on sale tomorrow.

H&M is 30% off and free shipping. You can get my favourite faux leather leggings for a super price (size up), and this jacket is pretty awesome.

Anthropologie is still 30% off everything + free shipping over $100 for everyone (I assume that means worldwide which actually pretty awesome).

J.Crew extended their 50% off everything sale, but added an extra 60% off sale styles. Their site seems to go in and out of working so be patient. A lot of pieces are sold out in several sizes so I am hoping that they get a restock over the next 24 hours. There are still a lot of great things for the family though.

Banana Republic is 50% off of everything. They always have some perfectly cut, classic pieces that will round out your wardrobe. These sequin striped pants would work well for holiday parties, and a silk cashmere sweater to go with them.

Bloomingdales is running several different sales throughout their website. Mainly take 25% off items labelled Take 25% off for a savings of up to 60%. And take 10% off beauty (online only).

LOFT – Tale 50% off your order and free shipping with the code: CYBER. I’m partial to this wrap blouse (I love wrap shirts, sweaters, dresses), this kimono, and animal print sweater

Urban Outfitters is offering a sliding scale sale. $10 off $50 or more, $25 off of $100, or $50 off of $150 or more. I have wanted to buy this light for Roo for a while. they always have really fun pieces for the home.

Nordstrom is up to 60% off across all departments where you can find some great gift ideas for women, men, kids, and things for the home. Need some new Uggs? And my friend just got these and raves about them.

Madewell is 25% off your purchase with the code SHOPALLDAY. SO many things I want, yet still so expensive. I need a 60% off day 😉

At Shopbop you can take an additional 30% off sale items with the code WOW18

JCPenney is an extra 30% off $100 or more or 25% off under $100.

ASOS has 25% off everything with the code EPIC25

& Other Stories you can take 20% off everything using the code FRIDAYNOIR such a chic code.

Topshop’s sale is up to 50% off select styles. There are still some great pieces here though.
