SHOP THE POST

I have religiously washed, dried, and styled my hair every day for the last 20 years, minus a day of sickness here and there when I skipped. I decided last month that I wanted to try skipping a day in between washes, cutting back on the styling tools, and using a dry shampoo to get me over the non hair wash day hump and I think I’m seeing some improvement in my hair’s health. I knew I was really hard on it and it kind of showed, but it seems to be looking and feeling healthier. I also don’t want to spend mega $$$ on dry shampoos so I have had a few trial and errors with different store brands. After some epic fails, I think Batiste works the best for me, and they have a lot of different scents. It also gives my hair a little texture/body which is nice to achieve without using styling tools. With the extra time I now have in the morning, I don’t know why I didn’t try this years ago.

This is totally a first world problem but the site I use to stream tv shows is down right now and I don’t know what to do with myself. I always stream a tv show in the background while I am working online and Netflix doesn’t always cut it for show options, plus it seems to always cause me issues when I try to use it in the Safari web browser and I can’t figure out how to troubleshoot it. Maybe I’ll hit up my Great Courses Plus videos until they hopefully resolve the issues.

We need more shelves, and or bookshelves in here to help distribute and organize the clutter. I think that this one might slide nicely into a weird area beside my bed that can’t be used for much. I also want to get another one or two of these shelves (we have one already) to fit in to the tiny strips of wall we have in between our windows. When you don’t have much storage space, having furniture that works as storage too is basically the only option aside from purging everything entirely…….which is actually a really tempting thought.

I complained about my broken vacuum last post and I *think* I may have temporarily fixed it but I am still open to vacuum recommendations. I hope you had a nice long weekend. Welcome April…..I hope you are significantly better than March.
