SHOP THE POST

It’s been a long week but tomorrow I plan on doing some spring/summer window shopping. I’m still broke but I want to gauge what kind of things to put on my wish list this season.

There are a few things online that I have spotted and I want to see if they are in store so I can try them on, because it would be nice to have a few new pieces this season.

Speaking of new pieces there are a few in these outfits that I would love to have in my closet. I’m going to see if my H&M has the skinny jeans, and black trousers to start. I wish my city had an Everlane, and & Other Stories to hit up too.

Sigh, maybe someday. The shopping is good here and I can only imagine it getting better.

These 20 outfits go with the What to Pack for Paris, France in Spring packing list. If you head over to the original packing list post you can get more travel wardrobe details, but in a quick summation, it is for a family’s first trip to France.

The mom wrote to me asking for some ideas to base around a few pieces that she already had (the camel coat, red Everlane day heels, and the black trousers. She wanted, easy to wear, eclectic-chic for an everyday mom. But something that would fit in, in Paris fashion without looking too much like a tourist. I hope I succeeded.

Do you have your eye on any new spring clothes yet?

  1. Love these picks! So tempted by that dress. Just one thought – I’d swap the camel coat for a showerproof trench coat for this one. It isn’t particularly cold in Paris in April, but it can be wet. To give you some context, Paris actually gets more rainfall than London (marginally). A trenchcoat would fit beautifully with the picks, go with the ‘french girl’ style, and serve a practical purpose.

    • Thanks Ally! Those were my thoughts too but she owns the coat and wanted it included. It would be really easy for others to just swap it out though. Thanks for the input!

  2. Thanks so much for your hard work to give us these helpful ideas!
