I hate February. It’s not just Valentine’s that I hate but pretty much the entire month. The February doldrums hits here pretty hard and it’s depressing. At least in March, you can see spring coming so it’s something to look forward to.

I can kind of feel it starting to sink its teeth in. I wish we could open up the windows, scour the place top to bottom, and then buy some things to freshen up the place to make it more uplifting. If you hear me complaining more than usual, please blame it on the month 😉

I can’t even go shopping to get inspired by new spring pieces because it seems that every store is still trying to clear out winter stuff so it is endless messy sales racks.

Don’t even get me started on Zara. The people that work there have to clean up sooooo much crap during their sales. It is always a disaster in there. I commiserate because when I worked retail it made me scream inside when people would tear through my store looking for things.

I’m the type of person who tries to refold and neatly hang up all the pieces that I touch while shopping.

Now off of February blues and on to the travel outfit options from the pieces in my What to Pack for Strasbourg, France packing list. This trip is something that the woman who requested gets to look forward to this spring. Ten days in the Alsace region while staying in Strasbourg. There are 20 travel outfit ideas (10 at the top and 10 at the bottom of the page) so you can see the versatility of what to wear in France.

The breakdown of the pieces in the original list are as follows:

I’m not one to wear a lot of jewellery so I generally don’t include much more than a watch. I have tried to get back into earrings and bracelets lately though so if you like jewellery then it is a quick and easy way to change-up your travel wardrobe without taking up a lot of room in your suitcase.

Does anyone else feel bummed out in February?
