SHOP THE POST

I think my favourite blog post every week is when I get to put together outfits from the pieces of that week’s packing list. I love having to visualize and get creative with ideas to build the perfect travel capsule wardrobe.

Today I have 18 outfits for 10 days in Greece that covers everything from casual touring to an evening out, and a day at the beach. I didn’t put together every option that I could think of so there are a lot more outfit possibilities.

Some key pieces from What to Pack for Greece are extremely versatile like a simple slip dress can be worn with tees layered under, sweaters over, layered under a skirt, or worn alone (or with a blazer) for a night out.

Scarves can be used to tie around the neck, as hair accessories, tied to a purse for a splash of colour, and as a shawl or beach sarong if it is large enough.

The black purse above actually converts to a backpack which makes a really great travel bag option, and would come in really handy while travelling (it also comes in white).

When it is hot out I really love pieces that are loose and airy but have long sleeves to protect me from the sun so I really like the black blouse (that can be left with several buttons open and the ties loose), the yellow cotton wrap shirt, as well as the loose-fitting, knee-length floral dress.

A pair of quick to slip on mules, canvas sneakers, and sandals are good options for variety in footwear choices. And don’t forget the hat and sunnies, because the heat can be intense in destinations like this.

I am eagerly awaiting the sandals to roll out for the season. Have you seen any yet that have caught your eye?
