I can’t believe Christmas is in a week. Yikes. It really snuck up fast didn’t it? I still haven’t got any stocking stuffers, and I haven’t wrapped a single present so I have a growing to-do list over the next week. I picked up Tom a couple of things that the girls thought he would like. We found them both at Hot Topic when they were having some good sales. I don’t think we can go into the mall without stopping in there though, and I am sure we annoy the staff with our window shopping. I picked him up this because he loves all things related, and we actually want to see a festival in person one day (it’s on my bucket list). The second thing we got him was this because for some reason he loves Pickle Rick. I don’t get it, but apparently he’s not the only one based on its lack of sizes left 😉
On Saturday we finally got to take Merle on her birthday outing to the Guillermo del Toro’s At Home with Monster Exhibit at the Art Gallery of Toronto. It was super awesome and I would LOVE to have some of those pieces in my house. I like a little creepy and macabre decor. Here are some of my favourite pieces in the first collage, and in the second were some of my favourite paintings we saw. If you go to my Instagram post from yesterday you can see my favourites in a bigger size. I just didn’t want to put 50 different large pictures in this post. If the exhibit comes to your city I highly recommend going to see it. It won’t disappoint.
Anyone in Christmas panic mode yet?
