SHOP THE POST
Hallelujah, I’m officially done Christmas shopping. Well, technically I was done weeks ago but I hadn’t bought any stocking stuffers until yesterday. And I got to go ALONE.
I never get to go anywhere alone because Merle has separation anxiety, but with some heavy bribery and Tom using his iPhone to show her where I am (Track your iPhone) she was okay. It was nice to get out by myself for once.
So I am all kind of in love with this bright orange plaid jacket above. I looked at H&M when I was out yesterday but mine didn’t have it 🙁
On a side note though every store I went into today had jackets on sale, so in every store that I looked at there were faux fur and teddy bear jackets half-off that I couldn’t buy. The struggle is real when buying one now isn’t in your budget even though this is the cheapest you have seen them.
I really liked this one at H&M, but I wish it was a deeper red instead of an orange-red, it would be a perfect colour then.
Today is the companion post for What to Pack for Tuscany packing list from yesterday. I put together 20 travel outfit ideas from the pieces to give you an idea of how well this travel capsule wardrobe will work. It would totally work for a fall capsule through to a winter and spring wardrobe with a few minor changes.
There are enough combinations to take you through the two weeks in Italy in February and will cover all the activities that are on the itinerary.
I think my favourite outfit from the entire list is the one directly below with the oversized turtleneck sweater and jacket. If I had those in my closet I would wear them all the time, It would become my uniform. Those flats are frigging fantastic and come in a few colours.
Do you have a wardrobe “uniform” that is your go-to?
