SHOP THE POST

It wasn’t until this year that I truly believed in the after Halloween super hangover. Oh man. I think everyone is suffering from it today (or Wednesday because this is a day behind) Irritability, lethargy, I have a headache.

If this isn’t a life lesson for us to eat healthily then I don’t what is. I kind of want to throw it all out. I hope to hell we all sleep better tonight.

Today is a continuation of the last post. I have the travel outfit ideas for my Milan, Italy packing list featuring that amazing jacket. I wish we still had a brick and mortar Mango here so I could check it out because I want to see if the colours are as lush in person.

These pieces made some pretty fab outfits though. I only put 20 Italy outfits together because the trip is for two weeks. You could easily expand on this travel capsule by layering and accessorizing differently. There are so many outfit options to have.

When you think about how well, Italian women dress it can be a struggle to come up with dressy options like for New Year’s Eve. I wondered what would be the best dresses to wear in Italy for this occasion, and when I came across this velvet dress I thought Bingo!

This dress would look amazing with the jacket and totally appropriate for a night of celebrating. Add some simple jewellery like gold earrings, a necklace or bracelet and it will be perfect.

Milan weather in late December and early January tends to range from around 1°C (low) to 9°C so really not that bad in the realm of cold weather. If you are sensitive to the cold I would bring some leggings to layer under your pants, and gloves for sure.

What do you think of the sort of Edwardian style blouse with the high ruffle neck? I find that I am drawn to them for some reason. The white Gap style in these outfits also comes in a black which is also really nice (and I might actually prefer because I don’t always work well with the colour white).

The striped shirt also is reminiscent to me of Bert and Ernie (in prettier colours) which I find totally 70’s and completely charming.

I hope you can find some Italian travel outfit inspiration from this post.

How is the Christmas shopping coming along?
