Does your sleep cycle ever get so out of whack that your deepest sleep falls around the time you get up in the morning? I have gone through that for the last while and it has really been messing with me. My night-time routine basically starts to begin around 9:30. I start getting everything ready and prepped for the next day and then by around 10 I get ready for bed myself. From 10-12 I read and then I fall asleep. I generally fall asleep quickly which is nice because years ago it took me forever to fall asleep. The I wake 50 million time through the night and every time I wake I feel almost wide awake, like I could get up and start my day at 3am. It’s not until around 6am that I seem to fall into a restful sleep so when it is time to get up I feel really out of it and drowsy for a good 2 hours. It’s frustrating because I would really like to the able to rise and start my day feeling rested and focused and it just isn’t happening. Not even close. Do you have any suggestions on how to wake up feeling more rested? This is really starting to take a toll on my mental and physical well-being.

Now back to business. In my last post I showed a packing light list, and in this post I am going to give you some outfit option ideas on how to put the pieces together to make as many outfits as you can. I have a list of 10 outfits above and an extra 10 outfits listed below. All together I demonstrated 20 outfit options from 12 items + shoes and accessories with room to make more. Since the focus of this list is travelling to Prague during the Christmas season the clothing and outfit options are styled towards colder weather. In the case of warm weather travel you could swap out pieces for lighter pieces easily. The great thing about figuring out your travelling wardrobe is you develop your own formula which can easily be adjusted for different seasons. The more you practice the more in tune you will become to your own wardrobe. Practice makes perfect so they say, yet I am sure I have many experiences that would disprove that 😉

I have a pair of jeans that are my go-to pants in everyday situations. It’s second nature to grab them when I am getting dressed. I have to make a conscious decision to not wear them and pick something else because I wear them that much. They are my wardrobe staple.

Do you have something you would wear every day if you could?

  1. Great capsule… But in really commenting to say I have almost the same sleep pattern issues you do. I’ve been blaming menopause. Would love to hear if you find any solutions.

    • Not that I am glad you have the same issues, but I am glad I am not alone. It’s frustrating and can be scary when you don’t know what the hell is wrong. It’s not menopause for me, but I thought maybe it was a B12 thing since I suffered from deficiency in college. Even after taking supplements though it doesn’t seem to help much. Then I started to wonder if it was stress, anxiety or even mild depression. I probably should get myself checked out instead of trying to self diagnose online 😉 I’ll let you know if I figure anything out. Thanks for stopping by.
