In my last post I showed a packing light list that included 12 pieces of clothing + 3 pairs of shoes + 5 accessories that I put together for Barcelona, Spain. In this What to Wear I am showing you how you can wear those pieces. The list has loose-fitting, airy items that would work well with doing a lot of walking and touring in the sun. I added a sweater and lightweight coat for when the temperature drops slightly at night, and a scarf that can be worn as an accessory or  unfolded and worn as a wrap/shawl for light coverage or to change-up a look.

With all my lists they are just a basic guideline to follow to formulate your own packing light list using your own wardrobe pieces. The formula in this list is 1 tank top + 2 t-shirts + 2 light blouses/long sleeves + 3-4 bottoms + 1 coat or sweater (or both for options) + 2-3 pairs of shoes + accessories (depends on the season). This formula can be used for all seasons with a few slight changes depending on the weather.

With this list I made 10 basic outfits with a bonus 6 (at the bottom) consisting of both day and night-time looks. I chose more of an earthy theme this time with a lot of browns. The mens style cropped trousers are my favourite item in this list. I have wondered how they would fit in to one of the packing wardrobes and it seemed to work out well. If they are not your style it would be easy to switch them out for shorts, capris, or even linen pants.

I find I gravitate towards a lot of greys and browns, What is your signature wardrobe colour?
